As low as I am on this class, I buy the logic of ...

Hah. Hahahahaa. Oh my gods. The NFL does not like Sanders.

Anyway, yeah, It's an uncertain process and you need lottery tickets. We've spent the best picks, it's all lottery tickets now, might as well start looking.

That’s an absurd pick

Sanders shouldn’t have followed his dad around. I get the concerns with him but he’s absolutely deserving to go over some of these QBs.

That has to be a long-term backup pick, Gabriel is turning 25 in the middle of next season. Dude had 6 years in college, he was one of the guys that got an extra year due to the COVID year.

Gabriel before Sanders, think that says it all there.

The media has no one to blame for this than themselves.

Yeah at this point it's not even about talent level. It's that numerous teams simply have a "Do Not Draft" stamp on Sanders that he did to himself.

One thing Sanders has going for him is that if/when he gets drafted, the loud mouths in the national media will make nonstop excuses for him if he sucks.

Talent wise, yeah.

I think we're getting to the point of the draft where a QB's willingness to accept he's part of the machine and not driving it matters, and Sanders, well... yeah. Yeah.

Has there been a case where the mock drafts were this wrong with any player since Sanders? He was mocked in the top-10 up until a week before the draft.

Not enough talent to justify the headache. Even if Shedeur himself isn’t a problem and is a hard worker the media circus alone will be a distraction.

Tbh I wonder if there’s a chance he goes undrafted

Malik Willis would have to be running it very close. But this is rare and schadenfreude-tastic territory.

I don't think Willis was mocked in the top-10 as much as Sanders. Sanders was the consensus #2/3 pick that fell to a consensus top-10 pick a week before the draft. He's now looking like either a day 3 pick or a super late 3rd.

Because of his last name.
Scouts literally said he was going to get destroyed in the locker room away from his father. He played in offense catered to him.

That didn't answer my question but go off I guess.

I wonder if Deion goes on a rant basically demanded that he go undrafted because of him sliding.

If Sanders wants to get drafted, he needs to recreate this picture. Show he has a sense of humor.
