So you don't actually have any solutions for addressing the QB situation then? Just endlessly kicking the can down the road because "who cares, we already wasted the careers of TJ and Heyward" is absolutely horrendous logic for building a team.
Yeah but you never know how these guys look until they’re actually in pads on SundaysHe does not. But he has better vision, though it's not great.
He's honestly a lot like Warren minus the pass protection skil.
I was thinking of Sampson. I'm a big fan of Damien Martinez. Not the fastest or most productive RB. He's a pain in the ass to tackle. Miami didn't use him nearly enough.Don't mind Johnson at all. Sampson would have been my pick but Tomlin was never going to put up with his fumbling.
And that's probably selling Rudolph short, who showed better accuracy in college. No one wants to deal with a Mason Rudolph level talent with a deluded dad that has actual cache.
I would only want Sanders in the 4D chess way of Deion blowing up on Tomlin and undermining some of his credibility.
Edit: the context I used that word is "cachet'

I can see his long speed is meh but i am more wondering if he’s gonna be more explosive than Najee and therefore break more 10 and 20 yarders
I wrote a lot of words in that comment, clearly, my opinion is more nuanced than a simple justification like your strawman reduced it to.
And clearly, so far, the one's paid to make these decisions, agree with me, and not those of you repeatedly surprised that the QB's keep dropping.
But go off some more like the genius you purport yourself to be, you've been spot on so far.![]()
I think the Jets are looking for a new GM.No, what I said is pretty much exactly what you said. It's kicking the can endlessly down the road without any actual names to address the problem, and saying "who cares, we wasted our core anyway" to justify it.
He doesn’t have speed, like Najee…better options were gone unfortunatelyThere's the RB, so far, Kahn and Weidl agree with me regarding the QB's.
Does Johnson here have some speed at least? No more plodding slow Najee's anymore please.
Good explosive run rateIirc Najee’s longest run in college was like 40ish yard. Johnson has multiple 50+ yard plays.
He didn’t run a great 40 but I think people are seriously underselling some of his big play abilities.

I mean iirc you can count the amount of guys breaking more 20 yarders than Najee on one hand. He wasn't a home run hitter but he chewed off big gains as much as about anyone.
Honestly, I suspect the thing he needs to do better than Najee to be better than Najee is not get stuffed at the line as much. A lot of people blamed Harris' vision - well, if this kid has shades of Bell, he should make it happen.
I would prefer a back with more home run potential as my lead back, but others have pointed out before a fair argument that Bell (and we'd be lucky if this guy turned out even close to him) never had breakaway speed, but his vision was great, which allowed for elite consistency.Yeah but you never know how these guys look until they’re actually in pads on Sundays
