Honestly an interesting idea I have is drafting Milton, seeing if he can pan out as a QB and then shifting him to WR if he can't pan out as a QB. A 4.37 40 time with a 6'2" and 215 lb size? That looks like a really good potential WR.

I imagine the route running would be a major adjustment for a guy so I'd be hesitant to say he can be a WR - Luke McCaffrey switched for his last two years in college and it sounded like his lack of experience had some issues in terms of getting open at the right moments in the NFL - but RB is pretty close to what he's already doing. I've read some teams have grades on him as a RB and as a QB.

Thank you for this vision of the future, I hadn't felt simultaneously berserk and clinically depressed like that for a long time. Like, 48 hours or so. Way too long. The best thing about it is that even if it works - if Warren's body holds up to that many touches and he doesn't follow the Tony Pollard route of great change of pace to just a guy lead RB - you then have to do redo the RB room the next year again anyway because none of them are under contract

But, anyhoo, I think whoever drafts Milroe will give him a chance to be a QB first. If it doesn't catch on, then you ask him what he wants to do. I kind of wish that wasn't the case and someone would pitch him - and players like him - on a Taysom Hill role right out of the bat but I doubt I'd give up on the possibility of being an NFL QB if it was in front of me either.

RB's are different breed; you're hit on every play. Drafting Milroe with the intent to make him an RB ain't gonna happen. I mean in theory it could happen... and the state of our FO and Coaching makes it plausible, but I would bet every penny I have that it wouldn't work.

That should help Booker a little bit. He's a Kevin Dotson type of guard and he's kind of young...just turned 20. He'd be a guy to draft and put between Jones and Frazier.

I’ve seen a few people on here questioning Milroe’s arm and I don’t really see where that’s coming from. His arm strength is probably the one thing when throwing the ball that he has going for him. It’s everything else that comes with playing QB that he struggles with.

He has a good arm. My issue with him is he looks at one guy almost all of the time. He doesn't go through progressions. I see the beginning of his career being very painful for him because he's going to be running a lot.

He needs time. 3rd round - good. 4th round - excellent. I've already caught shit for it in this thread, but I believe there is a dichotomy between being a first round PICK and a first round TALENT. For some reason people can't leave QBs out of the first round because of their positional value. This year not one single QB is a first round grade to me.

Milroe to me is kind of like Tim Tebo. Doesn’t have a NFL arm but has elite athleticism. Question is will a team be dumb enough to waste a 1st round pick on him. Will Milroe be willing to change positions.

They have made it pretty clear that RW isn’t coming back. Not sure he fits the rpo system the giants run. Cleveland didn’t offer him anything and are talking to Weintz. The league is telling RW it’s time to retire.
If Rodgers just wanted to play he would take the standing offer from us or the giants instead he wants to skip OTA and camp and wait until august
There was 6 bridge qbs they got 1 of them none of the available qbs are the difference between a sb and 10/7. I know Tomlin wouldn’t sign off on it but a Mason Winston camp battle with a day 3 development qb watching and learning would be great

With how little faith I have in him being an NFL QB, though, I don't think it's worth a pick before the 6th round.

Pryor was one of the freakiest athletes I’ve ever seen in my life. The hype around him in Western PA when he was at Jeannette was something I’ve never seen before.

He had his convictions about being a QB though and I respect that, but I suspect his career would be more fondly remembered if he had become a WR.

Well the other option is an old, washed up quarterback that the offensive coaching staff and players in the locker room already don’t like so I don’t really see how the Steelers are being held hostage here.
