You know, I was about to ask "I'm very curious for what this means for Pickens, I can't imagine they have the money to keep him and DK", but a rebuttal to that: you absolutely have the money to pay Pickens and DK if you have a QB on a rookie deal.

I'm inclined to believe more and more that Wilson's their guy for next year and they draft their QB of the future this year with this move. I don't think you pay DK Metcalf $33 million a year so Justin Fields is his QB.

Yea I think you just throw it up to those guys and do more deep crossing stuff. DK can also catch and run…he’s insane. I’d keep GP or we’re right back in the same boat.

You're at the same exact point you started with if you trade Pickens after acquiring DK.

They should keep and pay both and just go with a rookie deal QB to throw to them.

I don't think there will be much of a market for him to do much better than that. The Giants are the other team linked to him and they're also likely drafting Ward.

No QB
A Coach who doesn't know offense.
An Offensive Coordinator who thinks it's 1965.
Offensive philosophy that doesn't feature the pass. (or really the concept of forward passing)

Never thought they would want to pay metcalf that much money.
I would have never believed the Darnold to Pitt rumors but now I think it has a chance.

One thing for sure. Art letting khan and company pull the trigger on this, he’s going to want a playoff win soon or he’s going to make changes.

I think so too. Then draft an RB and line help on both sides of the ball. It’ll be nice to have our 1st round tackle back next season since he was injured all year.

High pick and a top 5 contract for a guy who is not even a top 20 WR. And doesn’t complement the other WR in the room. You have 2 guys with avg route running/separation ability and focus issues now.

Just do not get this franchise at all man.
