Honestly, I wouldn't be utterly surprised if Wilson goes unsigned by the start of the season.

It's not whether he will have offers, it's whether the offers will match his ego and desire to continue. If the league is telling him he's Gardner Minshew when he demands the respect of being treated like Geno Smith at the very least, I could see him quitting.

Exactly. The question is, will Mr. Unlimited allow himself to be only a backup and to be paid backup money, like 10mil?

He was willing to accept a league min contract because he was being paid 38mil by the Broncos and the Steelers told him he was going to be the starter.

There was a tweet from DeFabo that said the Steelers like Milroe but would not be comfortable drafting him where they think he’s going to get drafted.

It’s not the end of the world but he was apparently horrendous at the Senior Bowl.

Horrendous is putting it lightly

The recent talk about the Steelers seemingly not wanting either Wilson or Fields definitely makes me think a lot more about Sam Darnold being a target for this team. Which frankly makes me want to puke.

To me that doesn't line up with them talking about needing to draft this or next year. Darnold is too much of a commitment for that. I may be wrong, they may be full of shit, but I thought that was worth pointing out.

Sam is going to cash in and want 3/100 type deal.
It seems the cheapest option is JF.

I think the Vikings just transition tag Darnold at 35mil for the upcoming season. They easily afford it and no-one is going to give up two 1st round picks for him plus have to give him money.

We are absolutely in the sweepstakes for a top 5 pick if we sign him.

That's not an accurate report from Glazer. Glazer said he doesn't think Wilson will be back, not that he won't be back.

It's completely speculation from Glazer. It could totally end up right but definitely saying "he won't be back" is a mischaracterization with what was said.

Appreciate it. Feeling better. I have heard that Allegheny Co (county where Pittsburgh is for those not from here) have actually released a public notice that people should start to mask because there are so many cases of flu and nirovirus. I may just because that was pure misery.

Stay safe everyone!
Wearing a mask is a good idea. I wear one anyway (compromised immune system).

If Stafford and Kupp are available, I’d be very interested in pursuing that. I actually think that’s a scenario where Pickens going the other way as one of the main pieces could make some sense.

He said he talked to Tomlin personally. To publicly identify his source like that seems pretty legit to me.

Man I give Hendickson a ton of credit. He was really average in college. He has turned himself into a stud. He's almost improved so much that my spidey senses go up a bit.

He got figured out in Denver too, did you miss those two years? Steelers were able to mask his weaknesses for a few games against bad teams but better teams took advantage

no, i saw them. first year with a new system with nathanial hacket, then another new system with sean payton. a system that wasn't exactly a great fit and where he threw 26 TDs and 8 ints.

mask his weaknesses? so again, after 10 + years in the league, defenses didn't know what his weaknesses were?
is that what you're trying to point out?
its pretty funny you think this staff can actually scheme to mask their players weaknesses

The biggest difference in that cincy game was the dump off to Najaee and Warren over 200 yards yac because they were left alone

what are you talking about ? harris and warren combined for 110 yards receiving total.
wilson threw for 411 yards

i'll ask you again, do you watch these games or just make up this $hit in your head?

here, watch the damn highlights at least before blabbering about what you think happened in the game.

there's no draft compensation for the transition tag. only the right to match
