I think Austin would be a guy who would benefit greatly from a change of scenery.

All that speed and no big issue with drops? Andy Reid would have him catching 10 balls on crossing routes every game.

Call me optimistic but I think the Steelers win today

Lucy has this football that she is holding for you to kick.

Call me pessimistic but I think that the Steelers squeak through today, get humbled by Kansas, and nothing changes for the next X years but Tomlin's one playoff victory gives him immunity.

I do not know how tongue in cheek that was.

You generally only have so many bad games in a row, so it wouldn’t be that outrageous for the Steelers to overperform in this one given how badly they’ve underperformed the past 4 games. Perhaps a combo of that and the Ravens having a bad game could add up to a win.

We'll see, this feels like a game the Steelers win despite having no business winning.

This is basically my prediction as well. Win today, get smoked next week and they take a victory lap for their 1 playoff win.

It would be pretty much worse case scenario for the future of the franchise. Just enough confirmation to continue the illusion that this team and the way it's built can compete for Super Bowls, but in reality still no where close.

Um bell left in free agency even though they offered him a contract. ab said trade me and find out. Most everyone was elated when they traded DJ

3 RW turns back the clock because they throw early like ben against the colts and they use fields
He sat out a year because he didn't want a tag.

The commentary is doing a great job explaining what Fields does for the running game here, specifically with opening up the middle of the field. They really need to continue those looks with Fields at QB to open up lanes for the RBs.

If Fields can't come in next season and execute, he isn't a starting NFL QB.

I have no idea who taught that dude how to navigate the pocket, but he is so awkward at it. It's crazy.
As Kirk said, he doesn’t go thru his progressions fast enough…expecting him to be someone else isn’t going to do it…this is why people predicting we’ll win this game are nuts

It’s been a shitty end stretch but this has been by far the most entertaining team to watch we’ve had in a long time.

Not saying much though I know..

To all practical extents and purposes, no, because I think Austin already fills the place and therefore already shapes the team's needs. It's not like not planning for Wilson leaves the team with a blank slate at WR that makes getting a player like Wilson palatable - that's my point.
Of course Austin is there. Wilson is the one you're planning as if they're not.

Russ does need to realize the play is dead and step up earlier but the separation (or lack thereof) of the receivers against man is embarassing.
