I'm more intrigued by Burden but he also profiles as more of an underneath YAC guy, which honestly is something we could use. There's targets but I dislike going into a poor draft thinking I have to get a certain level of player here. Sometimes you get lucky and Zach Frazier is there when you want him. Sometimes you don't and you take Artie Burns because your ideal target went one pick before. If it happens it happens, but I'd rather be safe there.
You've also got to consider fit. Egbuka profiles mostly as a slot guy. Is that what we need?

I'm not crazy enough to pick Mike Tomlin in a playoff game, but I think it's going to be classic Steelers-Ravens, first team to 20 wins kind of game.Is there a single person here who expects the Steelers to beat the Ravens?
Kind of a trap game for the Ravens.
They are looking past the Steelers just as we are. Their All Pro receiver is out but Harbaugh says that he will be back in round two of the playoffs.
The Steelers are fairly healthy too.
This is just the kind of game teams blow. The Steelers might actually end up winning one despite Tomlin.
I doubt it. But Tomlin has a horseshoe up his rear with his job. So, in a backward logic do just enough to keep that genius rep with a certain segement kind of way, the Steelers might just edge a win out so that Tomlin remains coach for life.
Yeah, best player available at the intersection of organizational weakness is almost never a bad strategy, assuming you actually take the best player available. This doesn't seem like a terrible class for our needs, except for QB.On Egbuka, yes. I would say a really good slot guy is exactly what the team needs especially if they keep GP or sign an X.
But Egbuka isn’t just a slot guy. Think of him like Amon-Ra St. Brown. Who can play slot and pop outside as well.
And I totally agree with picking the best player regardless of many positions. Aka, no Artie Burns more TJ Watt.
If the best player is a CB/DL/WR/G then take the player. I’d may even say T. They could move Fautanu inside. Or even Broderick.
And if a true elite player drops to you. Take them. Ex Malaki Starks.
Why would he want to remain on a team that keeps 95 percent of plays three yards from the line of scrimmage? And half of those behind the line of scrimmage.I don't think Pickens wants to be on another team to chase a new contract, I think he wants a new contract this summer period. Virtually every other player in this situation would.
ok, will the real jaded please stand up.Is there a single person here who expects the Steelers to beat the Ravens?

Andrews and Lively are huge weapons and they’ll take advantage of the Steelers safeties and LBs…I'm not crazy enough to pick Mike Tomlin in a playoff game, but I think it's going to be classic Steelers-Ravens, first team to 20 wins kind of game.
Flowers being out is huge. Steelers can really key on Henry and Jackson running. He ran over them last time out, but they did a great job on him in the first meeting. They did a great job on Saquon. For all their warts, when they decide to take something away, they can usually figure out a way to do it, even if it ends up leaving something else open lol. I just don't think the Ravens have the weapons to take advantage of it without Flowers.
Plus, Harbaugh/Jackson have playoff struggles of their own.
So I'm expecting the worst of both worlds. A loss + "BuT tOmLiN kEpT iT cLoSe WhEn ThEy WeRe HuGe UnDeRdOgS!!1"
.....or they get smoked. Certainly on the table.
Andrews had a total of 59 yards against them this year.Andrews and Lively are huge weapons and they’ll take advantage of the Steelers safeties and LBs…

He's not going to get one. They are going to hold it in front of his face to make him act like a good boy next year.
I will add they might even use the tag on him in 26.This draft is basically aligned perfectly for Steelers needs. They should be able to really fill some big holes and be set up really well for 26/27. Both drafts are going to be loaded with QBs.
