Damn am I jealous of how Cleveland is utilizing play action thus far in this game, making the Chiefs D look silly.

Have to hope somehow the Steelers o-line figures out how to block better going forward to get Harris going so Canada can start utilizing it more.

Couldn't find a good stream of the Steelers game so only saw bits and pieces on red zone. But a great win against a very good team on the road. Doesn't look like the O-line managed to do much, but it's going to be a work in progress, I guess.

Saw a lot of the Bengals game. Best play of the day was Bengals going for it (and not getting it) on 4th and 1 on their own 30, which brought the Vikes back in the game.

Ben was to slow out of shotgun for them use play action. He might have to use pistol more

For anyone down on how Ben played today, look at how Aaron Rodgers is playing

Biggest surprise of the day for me, could've used some pre-season snaps me-thinks.

Cleveland choking this game away funny enough. Mahomes and Hill scoring at will, then botching a punt inside their 20.

And KC in the lead now.

If the 49ers are 100% committed to Lance, this franchise needs to be all over Garoppolo.

Mayfield throws a pick. KC wins 33-29.

It's gonna be interesting to see what happens to the Brownies the next few years. They can't not extend Mayfield, but they'll lose some talent once his cap hit skyrockets.

A decent offense and great defense is this teams recipe to have a good year. More of what happened on the second half please.

I think we were also told an OLB is not a position you should not break precedent to play. Huge game from all the pass rushers today really.

Sorry, can’t go there on the day that the pass rush singehandedly won a game. This team has the best front seven in the league and it’s why they have a chance to be good.

The one silver lining of the current QB situation in the division down the road will be the cap advantage over the other 3 teams in the division due to Jackson's, Mayfield's, and Burrows' eventual expensive 2nd contracts all being active by the time we find our next QB.

Of course the hard part then being actually finding that next QB that's good enough to make the cap advantage actually matter.

Remember when people in here were seriously trying to argue that Rudolph was on par with Stafford and Goff? Good times. Lol

Did you see what Goff did in Detroit? Stafford is just a guy always has been. He is the 3rd best QB in his own division

Yes, Goff almost came back against an elite SF defense. Stafford dominated last night. Did you watch either game or look at any stats??

- Yesterday had to have been the first time since I’ve watched the Steelers that they had six rookies start.

Harris, Fryourmouth, Green, Moore, Norwood and Harvin.

Didn’t realize that until this morning when I thought about Norwood starting in the nickel.

- Also no one was missing Dupree yesterday. Their OLB were a menace.

- Surprised that no one is talking about how well Sutton played.

- Harris didn’t look good IMHO, but it’s one game with a line in flux and the Bills were stacking the line often.

I'm 100% on board the sabotage train.

Dude wanted traded all offseason, said he'd never play for GB again.

Team refused to trade him, but I dont think he wanted to get fined the 50k a day for missing camp.

I dont think bringing in "over the hill" Cobb did anything to satisfy Rodgers wanting more weapons on offense.

I know its a wild conspiracy. But I just really can't believe Rodgers could be that bad unless it was somewhat intentional. I mean watch his post game presser. He had that slight dbag grin the whole time.

Don't wanna trade me?, Don't wanna bring in more legitimate weapons for me? Cool I'll blow this B!tc# up.

And things we've all heard about him being kind of a douche human off the field. Makes it believable to me.

The Cards didn't seem to be bothered by his presence. Blurb from the Titans fan site says he got a few pressures, but no sacks. TBF, I don't remember many crying because Bud went to make his $$.

Dupree was a good player for sure, but they were wise to not break the bank and commit insane money to 1 position (OLB with the Watt contract).

Buffalo is a solid team and I predict they'll end up w/ a better record than the Steelers

Tomlin has to learn how to manage his starters' "pitch count". The Dline in particular is thin and up there in age. We know his issues with RB snaps as well. They have to manage Watt too. Ingram looks to be a solid pickup, but it'd be nice if they had a 4th Edge guy emerge since Ingram has had his own injury issues.

Overall a really good showing by the defense. The offense needs to take some strides, but its game 1. What I didn't like is on the 2nd FG drive is Claypool wasn't on the field for 2nd and 3rd downs. You're in the Red Zone and you take your tallest playmaker off the field? Thankfully they corrected this later in the game, but Claypool is the guy that really will make this offense go or not. It's stupid as hell how they essentially phase him in and out
