That’s not to say he can’t be a good pro eventually, but I think as a group we have to lower our expectations of Wilson unless proven otherwise. This type of draft capital at the WR position has plenty of busts/underachievers historically.

Given the way this season has gone Russ has earned 1 extra year than we’d ideally like to give him. I’d expect this contract would theoretically allow him to retire as a steeler, although I’m sure Russ would tell you he wants to play for another 4-5 years.
