Buffalo has given up 40 plus 2 straight games
We’re not gonna stop Buffalo either…but we’re also not gonna be able to put up 40 points like the Rams and Lions, so it doesn’t matter lol

Man, these Seattle uniforms make each player look like a can of Mountain Dew lol

That's against good QBs with good weapons.

I'll give Wilson the benefit of the doubt, but we've seen the problem with the latter half of that with Pickens out.
Definitely still need a real wr 2 but buffalo has to play tons of zone because of defensive injuries that might mean more dump offs to Najaee like the bengals game

Oh by the way...

But not even among the 5 worst of Tomlin's career. That entire possession was a give up - feature Cordarelle Patterson FFS and then punt on 4th and 7 in Philly territory. Truly embarrassing display of coaching, especially when you add in the clock management at the end of the first half - the fact he got away with THIS answer and didn't get a follow up is annoying, but then again, he'd just toss some word salad and move on anyway.

Houston is -3 in KC so Vegas clearly doesn't think he's playing next week. Buffalo winning today puts their bye in real jeopardy if they lose to Houston, so not likely to just be a scrimmage.
If he is not playing Saturday I don’t think he is playing Wednesday if its a high ankle injury they could lose out

Watt said he rolled his ankle and reports are xray was negative. Not sure if he’d be talking to the media if it was a severe injury?

The fact that it was Patterson that was getting fed on the last offensive series they had is just f'ing weird. The security blankets for coaches like Tomlin and Smith to go to these plug veterans (see also Jeff Carter/Mike Sullivan) is exhausting. For what positives this coaching staff has, and there definitely are many (more than many would acknowledge), shit like this keeps the ceiling on this team way too low.

I wouldn't assume that, but indications seem to be that it's not a serious injury. Let's hope.

At this point in Steelers history (Tomlin era) I’d rather finish in last place and secure a top overall pick than continue to be the same old Steelers. So predictable. Good but not great.

I think they do, now that Khan and Weidl are in charge. It's gonna take a few more drafts to get there. Plus getting rid of players like Harris.

They will have 80mil tp spend when they cut Preston Smith, Ogunjobi and Holcomb.
I don’t think they cut Holcomb. Preston they probably restructure his deal and they will draft a rookie to take over from cam and while benton starts next to cam Larry probably sticks around

We have not finished in last place since 1988

Mediocre Mike Tomlin, that's what we'll get in perpetuity, why? Cause the owner is a third generation curtain jerker!

If they lose out or only win one more game and then get blown out in round 1, it is time to blow the team up. The defense isn't getting younger, might as well become sellers and build draft capital to set your eyes on the 2026 draft. Might as well be loaded on picks for the home draft.
