I just saw a replay on Twitter and on the play where they claimed the penalty happened after the punt you can see the palm strike happen a full half second before the ball gets out.

It's also beyond stupid how long the refs wait to blow the whistle. Every other play on the field they blow the play dead for forward progress, but not for this stupid push play.

If you are tackling any of these 220 lb track sprinters and you realize their feet are dropping under you all you have to do to avoid a fine is abandon trying to tackle the player and levitating to avoid hurting them.

I mean, that’s how the game has played out. But that’s not Mikey’s plan. We’ve complained all year that his plan on offense is to possess the ball. No one likes it. But today, when it didn’t work, we complain that they don’t do it. It’s not that they didn’t, it’s that they couldn’t. Philly is a better team by about the amount we’ve seen in this game.

Highest paid defense in the league allow a 10 minute drive in the 4th quarter from the oppositions 2 yard line to close out the game. Money well spent!
