The Tomlin special, you can almost set your clocks by it!

The fans that blow a load every week over Watt >> Garrett just received a rude awakening.
Well, Watt is having a down year no question, but last year, I think the Watt faithful have a legit argument. Up until this season Watt was the better player.

That might be a bit of an over reaction.
Not really.
  • 1 more against the Ravens and Browns, 2 against the Bengals. Chiefs and Eagles.
  • Steelers have a horrible record against the Mahomes Chiefs.
  • Eagles have won their last 2 meetings.
  • They already lost once to the Browns.
  • Burrow would be a front runner for MVP if 2 or 3 of their numerous one-score losses broke instead in their favor. They could easily lose both Bengals games down the stretch.
This team isn't good enough to be confident which team is going to show up week to week.

Yea, they will be 9-8 or 10-7, by the end, possibly sneak into playoffs, possibly not. Just like every year.

One things for sure, were not winning that playoffs game if we do get in.

Tomlin is never winning a playoff game again.

Can a trap game even be a trap, when everyone acknowledges and even expects the trap?

Tomlin teams inexplicably losing to terrible teams every season is so consistent you could set your watch to it.

I guess it's still a trap if you're stupid enough to walk into it.

Also, to avoid intentional grounding, you can just throw it to your linemen, and it will only be a 5 yard penalty and replay of down. Learned that tonight too.

A second half of the season collapse to 9-8 and either missing the playoffs or barely making the playoffs then getting blown out by the Chiefs or Bills would be the epitome of the Tomlin led Steelers.
This is what is likely to happen.

Pickens fighting a DB instead of going for the ball on the Hail Mary and then calling the Browns "not a good team" and blaming the weather conditions is... a choice.

Pickens was frustrated with the repeated interference and no calls and I don't blame him. I've been on him too with the extra shit but he battled this game and he kept getting interfered with heavily and they just acted like they didn't see it and called zero PI's which is just absurd. I wish someone on the team would call that f***ing bullshit out.

Fines be damned, have the rage and pride to say that yeah they lost and that's whatever but the officiating was awful and maybe they need to explain what pass interference and holding is because apparently they don't have the same idea of what those are as what the refs think it is.

The holds, the interference, don't get me wrong the dog shit play calling and other shit is why they lost but these things also just suck the air out of the room when it's so blatant and they ignore it. Then the f***ing stupid lack of push back by Tomlin on that intentional grounding ended the game and that was entirely fitting, Mikey no bollocks doing what he does best, be a bitch. Also, that throw was absolute garbage at the end.

We're not gonna lose to the Browns at home. Likely split with the Bengals and who knows what happens with BAL. Eagles very likely is a loss. At worst I think we finish 11-6.

I agree with him. This was the Browns SB. They had nothing to lose. Don't see it playing out like that again in PIT.

You could tell it was going to be a coaching clinic when Tomlin decided to kick a 58-yard field goal in those conditions. Wasn't there a game last year in a dome, I want to say the Indy game, where it was about that long and didn't attempt one?

Having Fields, who didn't throw the entire game, come in on 3rd and 4 and go deep was another brilliant move.
