I mean I guess I would've said coming in that a win would make me consider them real contenders, but 2 missed tucker field goals, our asinine redzone playcalling. I'm not confident they're a better team come the playoffs, even with a win.

But that's what afc north games turn into, so I'll take the win and move on.

Alot of room now standings wise. Have to hope chiefs win tonight, if they continue to, they might be resting starters by the time our game comes around late in the year.

Another 0/4 RZ efficiency week with Russ under center. It's the biggest concern on the whole team in my opinion, and yeah to echo what others have said, it's inexcusable not to use Fields legs in a package.

We could be one game back of the #1 seed if they lose with the Chiefs still remaining on the schedule...

The Steelers aren't perfect but there are a lot of worse teams than them in the NFL. The reality is that the product in the NFL just kinda sucks right now, so even a team with the flaws the Steelers have can be a legitimate contender.

Finally figured out you need to use Fields too.

This is nothing like that.
I agree, some elite players on defense capable of creating turnovers and splash plays, offense has a lot of holes, but if the OL keeps getting better and if they open up more players with Fields, they could be dangerous, good special teams too

If my math is right, Boswell is on pace for like 39.1 FG's, just 5 short of David Akers record. That 0/0 game against Washington hurts.

Would need to average 3 FG's per game the rest of the way to tie it.

But he did break a record today lol

Just needed to post this for how insane it was for a rookie to make this play.

NFL is dumb blocking that.

Never a doubt…haha.

Nothing to do with the Steelers' game but I'd love a rule where a team who's had a delay of game penalty on fourth down just turns the ball over. Waiting 30 seconds to see if someone's stupid enough to jump offside irks me.

Wilson through 4 starts as a Steeler.

73-121, 6 tds, 2 ints

94.44 qb rating

It's basically just what he did in Denver last year, it's just that the Steelers defense is elite so he doesn't need to carry the team to wins.

Perfectly solid game manager type. It's all this team realistically needs with the monster defense it has. Now they just need another good WR or two to really unlock the offense.

There are no perfect teams, ever, no point in expecting it
