OT: The Pittsburgher Thread: 5 and 2 Justin who? Hand the Fields to Wilson

  • Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates, this is just a temporary look. We will continue to work on clearing up these issues for the next few days and restore the site to it's more familiar look, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Outside of the fumble wilson and the offense looked pretty good. Were able to run the ball well, great passes, and a key: spread the ball around.

Then of course, tj returning to form, just excellent.

I'm told its the right play, analytically.
My response is kick the XP. Then if you want to be ballsy do it if you score again.
It doesn't make sense to me either.
I love bashing on Tomlin.

However, cookie cutter analytics are inherently flawed.

The Giants best weapon was out, leaving them with one great WR, and a lot of lesser offensive talent. And a sieve offensive line.

It was the correct call IMO given the totality of the situation.

Yeah I don’t think the decision to punt was a bad one. The most likely outcome of Daniel Jones having to drive 95 yards and get a two point conversion was probably not a good one for the Giants.

Even Tomlin can get it right once in a while, seriously it was a no brainer, not sure what the issue is there

I still remember that game where he punts it in a situation he should have gone for it and not even the broadcast could understand what the f*** he was thinking.

And that's Tomlin.

You can absolutely come up with issues on this team, but the 6-2 record speaks for itself.

Now go trade for another WR to help out the offense and this team will be cooking.
Bye week...

Now for some Kupp drama because apparently we needed more after the Aiyuk shit.

I'm ok with our WR room, go get a NT.
No OT…Moore got injured and the backup who took his place was mowed, and Jones is an abomination…we must have the worst starting tackles in the league lol

My biggest complaints from that game are that it took so long to go deep, that we didn't finish in the redzone, and that yet again the defense seemed to be at its worst when we got a two score lead. I thought a good pass rush would thrive with a lead but it sure doesn't seem that way.

On the positive, Najee is rolling, Wilson looked a lot sharper (his ypa is outstanding), Austin finally broke one after looking like he was going to for awhile, and TJ showed again that he's the best defender in the game and saves his best for big moments. What a stud.

I'm still annoyed that Miller dropped that deep pass. It was better thrown than any of the ones last week.

Eh that one was a serious underthrow imo. It looked good but only because Miller slowed down so much the DB could get right in his face. I can't find a good replay but I thought the DB had about as much chance to catch it as Miller did.
