That was a terrific pass by Pickett to Sims

That's actually not clear if he didn't catch that. He didn't have control when he hit the ground but I can't tell if the ball hit the ground.

Nah, wasn’t secured…no catch but he should have caught it

That last series leading to FG attempt wasn’t a very good one for him but otherwise he was playing well..
 
Pickett did make 2 bad throws to end that drive, but the biggest issue by far on that drive was the negative plays and penalties.

They only had a long drive because they converted 2 3rd and longs. They shoot themselves in the foot too often and it is a huge problem.

Also, the blindside tackle is horrendous.

They gave Patterson a 1st down because his feet crossed the marker.

The ball was in his trailing arm and he was at least a half yard short.

One of the worst marks I have ever seen.
 
WRs open by a mile in our secondary lol..of course Steelers so worried about their running game that they have no plan to counter Falcons focusing on the pass so far today lol

Sims is awful today lol
 
I feel like Harris has more yards after contact today than he had this entire season.

I will give the offense credit, the offense in recent weeks has been working substantially better and Canada's playcalling has been working.

That jet sweep that got the Steelers a 1st was a really unexpected and smart call that caught the Falcons completely off guard.

but Pickett should have had a TD throw the play before to Muth and it was a bad throw…looks like he’s scared to or can’t drill it in there because he’s so worried about INTs

I get it, a team should not draft rb's high. It is an outdated strategy.

Harris has been good for 4 weeks now. You folks are totally incapable of giving him even a bit of credit.

I mean it barely missed Freiermuth. It was just beyond his hands.

I feel like Steelers fans are going crazy with criticizing Pickett for any missed throw he makes. Missing that throw to Freiermuth is just a throw that NFL QBs sometimes miss.

Yah that last 3 and 1, He made it much harder than it had to be, and honestly a good RB hits the hole and probably scores there.
 
Getting gashed by the pass…I knew that as soon as Tomlin said they have to focus on the run game today lol
 
Pickett was late on that throw…so far, he looked better last week…hopefully he improves in the second half
