Are you Kenny Pickett's mother or something?

Jfc, somebody isn't trolling you just because I happen to disagree with something you said.

Hfboards has excused every single int Pickett has thrown lol. The dickriding for a rookie qb who looks like a rookie qb on a bad team is insane.

"Oh, Kenny tossed it into bracket coverage but Claypool didn't Moss 2 guys so it is 100% Claypool's failt."

I don't really care about the INTs, but he now has 2 passing touchdowns in 2.5 full games.

I'm not all in on him and I'm not all out on him. I'm just saying that when/if we have a top 5 pick we have to decide if we want to upgrade on him as a QB prospect, like Arizona did a couple years ago. (Shrug)

Claypool falls over while running a route, leading directly to an interception.

Geniuses on here: OH MY GOD THIS IS WHY TRUBISKY IS BETTER THAN PICKETT

As soon as the offense shows a pulse and gets this team back in the game, the defense shits itself.

This point has been belabored already, but I don't understand why this defense is this bad.

Watt is really, really, really good. There’s basically no pressure on the QB without him. No pressure combined with a meh cornerback room is a bad recipe.

No, saying Trubisky has been better than Pickett is trolling because it's a comically dumb statement to make. Trubisky had a terrific second half against the Bucs last week, but that doesn't magically invalidate the shitshow he was in his 4 starts.

Sorry you think that pointing out the context of "Claypool literally fell over his own feet which led to an interception" is somehow "dick riding". Well no I'm not sorry, you're just a troll.

I mean, 2 passing TDs and 2 rushing TDs in 2.5 games is about the pace you'd reasonably expect out of a rookie QB, no?

It's a pace of 25.6 TDs over a full season.

I think you're right, but at the same point, I'm wondering why they're paying the other defenders what they're paying them if the defense itself is propped up by Watt.

I know Watt makes up a huge chunk of the money they're spending on defense, but I feel like they have a few other guys making notable money.

All things considered, coming out of the 1st half while still being in a 1 score game is way better than what you could have expected after the first 2 or 3 possessions in the game.

That was a victory to hold them to three there given Tomlin’s clock management Lol…Steelers are within one score

Fitzpatrick and Heyward are worth the price. But without Watt, it’s easy for a defense to just double Heyward or Highsmith and eliminate any pressure.

Witherspoon is also injured and he’s pretty much the only cornerback on the roster with the speed to handle these receivers.

1 good drive per half as per usual with the offense.

All you have to do is look is look at what Pickens is capable of vs. his actual production to see that Canada is out of his depth.

How do they not get the ball in his hands 10 times a game at minium?

If you are actually interested in hearing my opinion, no TDs against Buffalo and an ineffective first half against Tampa in which he checked down a gazillion times weren't encouraging signs.

I'm not all out on Pickett. But if I had to make a call as of now, if we're drafting #2 or #3 and a different echelon of QB is available I'm taking him. My opinion could and probably will change but I expect by next March-April I'll be more definitive.

Of course I am nowhere near as certain on the QB as I am on the coordinators/coaching staff, which I would do now if possible.

I agree with you on Fitzpatrick and Heyward, but they're also paying Ogunjobi, Bush, Sutton and Jack a decent chunk of change on defense.

I heard really good things about Jack when he came in and I've just been underwhelmed. I know Watt makes a shitload of money but I'd hope that guys with $5+ million cap hits can have positive impacts on the team. Overall, I'm not really noticing any of those guys in a positive way.

Also I'm not entirely positive on how the NFL salary cap works, but I really don't know why they didn't trade Rudolph when he's counting for $4 million against the cap.

No one is talking about the interception tonight. They are talking about the interception Pickett threw against the Jets on his first throw…because it was underthrown. If Mitch made that same exact throw a majority of people in here would be bitching about how much Mitch sucks

It can't all be sidelines stuff.

When Ben was at his peak we had receivers open in the middle of the field. It's higher risk, yes, but throwing intermediate down the middle is a prerequisite to be an effective NFL offense. Look at Miami's first drive.

If Pickens can win battles on the sidelines he can win them in the middle.

It's amazing how Tomlin, despite all his experience in coaching, still sucks at clock management. He never learns
And just not like it's complicated. You are first and goal with all of your timeouts and can let it go to the two minute warning. Why the hell are you rushing to the line to run a play before the stoppage? Unless you think you are going to catch them off guard, which they didn't.

If the Steelers pick top three let's hope that they have an easy choice. Either Pickett shows enough or doesn't.

I love the reads and how he goes through the progressions. I am not sold that he can be a franchise quarterback.

Sell me Kenny. Or don't.

Steelers will be picking high for a few years to come so can afford to go quarterback again if they need to.

I’m assuming they were trying to score quickly so they could have a chance to get the ball back to tie it before half.

The defense just let up a big play.
