Similar to the heralded series ER, "The Pitt" is a hospital procedural which focuses on an Emergency Room, with this one being set in modern day Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm not big on hospital shows, but being a proud Pittsburgher, I'll be giving this show the old college try.

Noah Wyle, (as Doctor Michael 'Robbie' Robinavitch) is returning to his role as an ER physician after 254 episodes playing Dr. John Carter on ER. I'm not super familiar with hospital procedurals (aside from House), but this one doesn't have a ton so far that sets it aside from other hospital shows I've seen before.

They released 2 episodes so far and will continue to release an episode every Thursday moving forward.

Got excited, thought it might be about the Fallout 3 DLC with the same name but it looks like another hospital show with Wyle. I enjoyed his alien show, Falling Skies
My wife said the same thing… she loves fallout lol. I watched the first 2 episodes. I’m not big on hospital shows in general, but it doesn’t seem like anything particularly special in the genre.

I’ll watch it for the Pittsburgh connection mostly.

4 episodes in and I am really liking this one. It is pretty interesting in that each episode represents one hour in a single 15 hour public hospital ER shift. Also interesting is that it basically has no music and is wall to wall drama and has cursing becuase it is streaming (although it isn't too noticeable).

I was skeptical of how this could possibly work, but so far it seems to really work pretty well!

Six Episodes in and this is actually a pretty dang good show! Love the combination of characters and Noah Wyle is amazing as the the head doctor.

I will say, nurses I work with say this is the most accurate show they've seen from a medical perspective. All that being said, I see something similar every day, though not quite as crazy since I work on an ICU and not the ED. I avoid that place like that plague.

Dont really care to watch work on TV.

Underrated show of the year. It’s not buzzy, it’s not high brow or high concept - it’s just damn well made with a relatively spot on energy and realism missing from almost every medical drama. Noah Wylie is fantastic in this.

I love shows like Severance and White Lotus but sometimes it’s refreshing for my brain just to enjoy spending time with a show that’s just straight-forward really really good.

I had no expectations going in, I liked the first few seasons of ER way back in the day and House could be good fun but overall not a fan of medical procedural at all…and I’m absolutely hooked and impressed.
