Slick, I appreciate you and your perspective, but how many games in a row can you say “we got goalied?”

Every team plays the Oilers hard. They have to expect a hard effort against every night.

You can’t be goalied more than 2-3 times a season.

So far I’ve heard this reasoning at least that many times this year. We haven’t played 10 games yet.

Or maybe we aren't as good as we think we are?

McDavid looks to be losing hockey IQ as each game goes on.

I don't believe this, but the numbers will even out soon enough.

How did we play without this rule for so long with no complaints?

We wore tube skates, heavy wool socks and sweaters, didn’t wear helmets. We had 2 cameras at each end, everyone one at home got 2 channels (CBC and CTV), you saw one game on Saturday and no one could tell if the players were offside from that snowy reception, oh, and we respected authority , so if they said it was you just moved on. It was simpler times.
