I'm hoping they get there or better; they deserve it. My only stipulation is that they'll have to do it as a one-loss team because I will not condone them beating my Buckeyes.
I get it. Alabama is my obvious team to hate as a UT fan but the University of Memphis is my schadenfreude team of choice. OH how I hate that team! The only team they can beat and I'm happy is Alabama. I don't even remember which game it was that they won now, doesn't matter.I'm not entirely sure why, but I still get all kinds of schadenfreude-sourced glee every time Miami falls flat on their face. Maybe it's got to do with those folks who are still whining about that pass interference call in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl; IDK for sure.
But regardless, I LOVE IT.
Titans and Preds both sucking at the same time and in years with subpar drafts in both sports is some real Nashville sports luck.
On the positive side, Ole Miss going to three losses should mean there's still room in the playoff. Should. If there's justice in the world. (And Minnesota's threatening to upset Penn State, which would also help. Fingers crossed.)Sadly we did.
