Seahawks vs Packers should be a good game starting now

Good seeing Geno Smith do well, you gotta love rooting for the guy

I'm a big Superman fan and I'm excited to see the trailer drop tomorrow.

What I'm not so excited about is all the Zack Snyder fans crawling out of their holes to start being toxic all over Twitter. Oi.

And I say this as someone who reasonably enjoyed Man of Steel and Snyder's Justice League (although Batman v Superman is one of the most aggressively awful and actively infuriating movies I've ever watched).

I hope it's good.

It seems much more upbeat that MOS which is a good thing even though I thought Cavill did a decent job.

I'm still partial to Routh even though the movie was terrible.

Fingers crossed.

Side Note. Death of a Unicorn looks hilarious.

I'm a big Superman fan, and I've always been of the mindset that his real superpower is being good and decent. I didn't love Man of Steel and the subsequent movies going kind of grimdark, and I thought they were a waste of Cavill's talents - which are considerable. I also enjoyed good chunks of Superman Returns (the airplane save is a fantastic Superman sequence), and I'm cautiously optimistic for this movie, too.

I saw the Death of a Unicorn trailer this morning. I think it fell victim to a common trope of showing WAY too much of the movie, but I'll agree, the premise and the case seem hilarious.

Superman trailer released.

Thought it was fine.

Thought it was good - I wish this movie (and others) would just stop right there and let that be it. As I mentioned with Death of a Unicorn, especially when we get into "second trailer" and "final trailer" territory, so much of the movie and its 2nd and 3rd acts get spoiled in trailers these days.

Also - if you want to see how trailers can still be an art form, watch the trailer for 28 Years Later.

I can safely say I had zero interest in this sequel until this trailer made me sit up and pay attention. I feel like 95% of trailers these days are kind of cut and copy, let's play a slowed down version of an upbeat song, montage of stuff sort of thing. And then something like this comes along that feels extremely impactful and effective. The harrowing reading of the poem is amazing.
