OT: The OT Thread | Post Apocalyptic Edition

I'm going to give you a compliment here,

I feel like I should say "f*** off" but this was the pettiest, most accomplished and dignified bit of moderation I've ever received. Congrats, sir. I'd tip my hat if I was wearing one. That was..........tidy.

And in the end, you won because I had to do a lot more work than you to move a bunch of posts over. And I HATE doing work.

Any rapper, musician, influencer etc without much or any acting experience that is offered a part in a movie should watch Adrien Brody in The Brutalist and then think about whether they're really up for it.

Saw the Minecraft movie with my family yesterday. Was kind of disappointed at how well behaved our theater was, I was expecting a lot more energy given some of the things circulating on social media.

Pretty standard, blah-kids movie. My wife and kids enjoyed it, I was bored. But the one thing that brought me vividly out of the movie was the school principal's ex-husband looking exactly like Jim Benning. I wish I could find a screenshot.

So, I got a new Samsung Galaxy today, and does it ever beat the wheels off my ancient Motorola. The assistant is amazing. It found virtually everything I asked for until I asked for a couple of hookers and a gram of blow. It suggested I try the Google Play Store, which I thought was pretty darn smart. Hey, at least it tried.

There's one helluva learning curve compared to my old 2017 Moto G5. :laugh:

I mean, it just does so much more. The Moto was basically a phone, a camera, texting and internet, which was so slow that I often gave up waiting for a page to load.

I still haven't figured out how to do a ton of shit on it. I haven't been able to figure out how to change my alarm sound but I did get my ringtones sorted out. There is so much stuff to figure out that it's crazy. I've got most of the essentials out of the way like email and texting but I haven't figured out how to get wallpaper working. I set it, but it's not there when I go back to my home screen. I'll get it figured out though.

Basically, I love it already just because of the speed of everything, but I think I'm really going to love it once I get more figured out.

@Coffee

I forgot one thing - the thing I talked about in my first post.

The assistant is a lifesaver. It can find me things I can't find. I can say, Open settings," and it does just that, or open email or Chrome. It doesn't find everything and will sometimes take me to a relative Google search if it can't find it on the phone, but like I said in my first post about hookers and blow, she always tries. :laugh:
