OT: The OT Thread | Post Apocalyptic Edition

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

There’s a lot more important back end stuff that needs to happen. Frankly it’s amazing there’s a forum at all.

My advice is to be patient and don’t get greedy.

Ginger papa passing away hit me hard. He was always like a father type figure to me. We’d chat for hours on dms about issues I was having and he’d always have good advice or an ear to listen to me.

I will miss him. I hope his family is doing ok

If you ever need a different ear, my DM's are always available. I can't promise you sage advice, but I'll tell you what's what based on my own life experience and all my own mistakes and buddy...there's a lot of that. I'm kind of excellent at making mistakes.

I hardly interacted with the guy, but he was always there to like my....saltier posts. When no one else would. They don't make em like ol Ginge. I'm glad they don't...it would be a horrible burden I imagine.
