It’s the musical chair of 3 Ds that are not good enough defensively. Xhekaj can fight. The others not. Once again on skill alone all 3 should be in the AHL.
Everything else being equal, they're all not great defensively but X brings something the other 2 don't, toughness and fighting. Tonight however, our only good D was Hutson. Guhle, Savard, Matheson, Barron and Struble all had bad games

I've read quite a few times on tis board that Anderson would get punched out by various players. He just bitchslapped one of the toughest guys in the league.

Also, glad Xhekaj was benched, it made a huge difference :laugh::laugh:
Their animosity towards each other goes way back. I wonder if that contributed to Anderson's decision to drop them this time.

I’ll just keep repeating what I believe.
1 more awful season with a high pick and a firing of our coach at season end will go a Looooong way.

Pathetic team that cares more about the wack little celebration than improving all aspects of the game to become winners

We need an Elite C in this next draft and things will be looking up. the blueline is still a mess...

Man to Man getting roasted AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN.
However none of the detractor's are advisors.

There were a few instances where it was the direct cause of the giving away the slot completely. I just don't understand how an NHL team can do that. I've never seen a team be this bad defensively, though I don't follow bottom feeders usually. This year though, It's infuriating and I think I'm of the more patient temperament

Before you start criticizing, notice the age of d-men.

Barron, Hutson and Struble have played less together than each of the Fehérvári, Sandin group. Not to mention Carlson and Van Riemsdyk. Alexeyev would be one of the most experienced defensemen in your team. McIlrath hasn't played a huge amount of games in the NHL, but over 600 in the AHL.

Then the centers, the basic of the line. Washington has Strome, Dubois in TOP 6, you have Suzuki and Newhook. Dvorak is an opponent agent for more than one game. It's appalling what he's showing.

Heineman, who's max a third line player and even that when players are injured, is playing on the first line.

You can criticize the tactics, but it's one thing to criticize the tactical guidelines, it's another thing to see if the players can execute them.

To judge by Columbus, make the fourth line out of tough players who will play extremely hard, good in for checking, fight the opponent. For example, something like:

L. Tuch - F. Xhekaj - Pezzetta

(write your version, you know players better)

It will definitely be better than two amorphous players Armia and especially Dvorak.

By the way, I don't know why you have Matheson. That corn protection in front of the net... .

At least St-Louis showed some emotion there during the presser.

I think its time some vets get healthy scratched. Do we have any hard nosed players in Laval?
