No matter how good our team is, thats a huge hole to start each game.

We usually end up solving goalies at some point, hopefully we light Kuemper up because Stu is gonna Stu.

This entire season is looking like a write off. Its as if we did nothing at the trade deadline aside from getting Max Jones. Not even management is to blame for that. Its just garbage luck. All the valuable upgrades we have are hurt. Sounds like not even Kane is ready to go for game 1 ffs! Im not saying we will for sure lose to the Kings but the more I think about the playoffs, the less I'm looking forward to them. This could be a real short trip.

Apparently Stecher was out of practice too, so maybe hurt as well?

I wouldn’t be too concerned about it. This is a veteran roster and versatile lineup. Deployment hasn’t been static, especially on the blue line where pairings and distribution has been very situational.

The staff has been moving pieces around a lot in the second half so they likely have a good understanding for the most part of who they want where and when. Definitely a few pieces to fit in the puzzle but one practice t
3 days out from the first game probably isn’t completely indicative of what they’ll trot out game one. I think there’s definitely some gamesmanship and not showing their cards going on.
