I think it will be good when the Oilers are on the road. They have played 6 of the first 8 at home and going on the road might be good thing to get away and build some cohesiveness.

We obviously haven't been good enough. We did play great against the Canes but lost. We played great against Dallas but lost. Luckily we pulled away last night.

Nonetheless, Calgary is on top! LA is in 3rd. Meanwhile, the Oilers/AVs/Preds are all at the bottom of the heap... I don't see it staying that way after 82 games.

The Oilers should try getting Iiro Pakarinen back. Dude is lighting up the FEL, 21 goals in 19 games so far, just an otherwordly pace. He might be a product of his team mate Jori Lehterä, though (29 assists in 19 games), and not find a playmaker as good in Edmonton.
