Buffalo Bills The offseason begins

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Server changes were implemented recently to cope with the traffic surge last week. This seems to be affecting the user login, so please anyone experiencing this, log out and clear the browser cache. We expect to have this issue solved once the maintenance is complete.

Kupp released. Anything there for the Bills?
Likely not. Kupp's pretty exclusively a slot guy at this point in his career......and we've got Shakir manning the slot for the foreseeable future. And, I think right now.....Shakir might be better than Kupp flat-out.

Yep. Beane is most definitely wheeling and dealing this year -- most likely in an upward manner.

They reached when KC took McDuffie ahead of us and bought into his notebook act at the combine. Sometimes it doesn't work out and you move on in life like a divorce sometimes people can't/accept it do it.
Oh God, I forgot about his notebook.

I bet it looks a lot like Jerry's notebook, but possibly in crayon.

We have four 5th's this year now ?
Edit: Three 5th's now

Ammo for trading up! Not enough roster spaces available on the 53 to justify making all of those picks.
we are most certainly going to move up multiple times and I would expect Beane gets into the 3rd.

Evan Engram (TE) to Broncos
Russell Wilson visiting the Browns

Anyone remember the old days of free agency when we would prey for one signing ?

It all depends on the board and what other GMs want. He might move back from 30, like last year, and move up on days 2 and 3 if he can’t find a dance partner in the 1st.

-Darius Slay (CB) to Steelers 1/10M
-Benjamin St-Juste (CB) to Chargers
-Jonathan Jones (CB) to Commanders 1yr

(wonder if the Bill's were in on any of the CB's ?)

-AJ Dillon to Eagles

Some free agents still out there:
Azeez Ojulari, DE. Situational type rusher who is young and could rebound from injuries.
Dane Jackson and Levi Wallace, CBs. Do they come back on vet minimum deals?
Rasul Douglas, CB. Doesn't seem like the market is panning out for him early into free agency. Does he come back for a 1 year deal?

Spotrac still not updated so I can't tell what Beane has left.

The Bills weren't cutting him because there was zero cap savings if they did it.

It was trade him for anything they could get for the cap savings or they likely kept him as CB4/5 for the season.

In Dallas, he might be CB2.

They have Diggs and a bunch of nothing...
Bland if he's healthy is CB2 behind Diggs on the basis of his one year intercepting and housing everything. Whether he's actually good in that role is a different question.

Does a 5+6 get you a 4th? Does a 4th and 5th get you in the 3rd? I want to see Beane Madden the shit of all these late picks.

It might if you package the earlier 4th which i think is only 14 spots to get to 95, late 3rd.

I could also see Bills trading out picks to next year. similar to what they did last year.

I appreciate what Rasul Douglas did for us after coming over mid-season but I'm not sure I would want him over a Day 2 prospect if the right fit is available. He tailed off pretty sharply last season.

I think he lost a step on his already slow feet. If you bring him back so that rookie has to compete…fine. He’s a good locker room guy. But it’s not much in the way of a plan to play him imo.
