That really sounds like a Hollins upgrade (minus the blocking), but I hope we get him back.

Id rather listen to Tom Grossi's stream of it. Much more entertaining.

As for Palmer, sounds like a solid piece to add to an offense to help keep drives and chains moving which seems to be how Brady wants to run the offense, even if he doesn't take the top off of it. Seemed to be a favorite target of Herbert on important drives and downs.

I like it.

To add on:

The biggest complaint that Chargers fans have of the guy is that he's constantly nicked up.

Palmer is the Cooper replacement. He's not a burner, but he gets open on intermediate routes a lot.

Bills are doubling down on more of a horizontal timing offense. Palmer is that type of boundary receiver. Good hands, gets open.

Agreed. What's weird to me is they talked so extensively in their pressers about wanting to get a speed element back. I like Palmer in a vacuum, but this isn't that.

Or they plan to use Samuel differently? He's got great speed but has been used like Deebo Samuel without the run game element.

Obviously it would only impact last year and not the three before, but I wonder how much of a role being in a Greg Roman offense deflated Palmer's numbers last year. His second year was 107 targets, 72 catches, 769 yards, and then year three was trending similar but only 10 games played. Last year took a step backwards, but we know Greg Roman offense are famously WR unfriendly.

Bills could be banking on there being more there.

Will be interesting to see if they try to bring back Hollins or they keep that spot for a vertical threat. Also not sure how Samuel plays into everything as well. I doubt they roster 6 WRs this season, think they'll do 5 like last year and PS elevations when needed.
