Buffalo Bills The offseason begins

Just noticed something:

Chiefs in the Super Bowl after beating the Bills in the AFC/AFL Title Game: 0-3 (I, LV, LIX)
Chiefs in the Super Bowl after beating anyone else in the AFC/AFL Title Game: 4-0 (IV, LIV, LVII, LVIII)
In the Josh Allen era, I think the team that knocks the Bills out of the playoffs is something like 1-5 in their next playoff game.

Hollywood Brown vs Amari Cooper would be an interesting debate for the WR to take that last spot.

Does...does this guy think New Orleans has legit grass?
I'm sure he was just talking about the quality of the footing at the SB when compared to the last time they faced off in the Big Game.

Brugler dropped his top 100 big board today. Things I really love for the bills:
  • Four DTs ranked 19-33 and another 8 47-88
  • DE at 21 and 30 and another 5 in the 40s and 50s and 5 more 60+
  • 13 corners and safeties 40+
If they want to use this draft, specifically the first 3 picks, to hammer and reload the DL and secondary, this is the year to do it

If Grant tests well, he won't make it to 30. Nolen is a 3DT. Williams played mostly 3DT at Ohio State but projects as a 1DT in the NFL. I think he's the guy. Though Revel is constantly available in all my mock drafts.

Collins probably won't make it to 56 either. He's also older, and that doesn't fit the Bills drafting profile. I don't see Scourton or Turner making it to 56 either. TJ Sanders is more of the same as far as what the Bills have at DT. Alexander is a 3DT. Phillips would be a bit of a reach. Walker would be a good potential pick. Norman-Lott is a 3DT. Farmer is at 88. Kennard is explosive off the edge - I don't see him lasting as long as Brugler has him rated (87). Umanmielen is also a possibility.

Jalen Royals would be interesting at 62. So would Jaylin Noel. Bond at 94 was interesting. Cobee Bryant at 96 would tempt a trade up. Porter at 99 is older than what Buffalo would like but could be a steal.

I think is Beane prioritized DL, something like this would work:
30 : Tyleik Williams, DT Ohio State
56: Deone Walker, DT Kentucky
62: Kyle Kennard, DE South Carolina

Then possibly a trade up into round 3? If the Bills rankings are similar to Brugler's, maybe they make a couple small trade downs from 56 and 62, similar to what they did with James Cook, and still get the same player.

Edit: for reference, a trade down from 56 to 65 would net the Bills a 3rd (using the Giants as the example). Bills might need to add a 6th to even it out.

A trade down from 62 might net another 4th (using SF as the example). Then Buffalo would pick at 65 and 75. If Brugler's ranking are close to what Beane will have, then Walker and Kennard wouldn't be big reaches. And the Bills would pick up 104 and 112. That enables a trade back into the 3rd, or a clean up in the 4th of players who fell to day 3.

We probably shouldn't keep Cooper to block a spot. Dude barely did anything. Coleman did nothing. We need a top end outside receiver. M. Brown is an option, but I think that's mostly a deep threat option.
