Canes have earned a Draft lottery win this year.

Anyone but Toronto. I'd seriously rather see Edmonton win it again than see Toronto get it.

Kings have an elite goalie and a good D core. A lot would have to go wrong for them to be anything but a bubble team or better.

Time to be pessimistic!
-New Jersey wins the draft lottery.
-We get pushed 6th spot.
-We now have to face McDavid 6 times a year.
-Canes draft Crouse with the 6th pick.
-He makes the NHL team, but becomes nothing better than a 4th line grinder.
-LA wins the cup next year
-We get their 30th overall pick
-We pick up another solid late first round draft pick like Phillipe Paradis
-We miss the playoffs over & over again.
-Roland Mckeown never cracks NHL roster.

So sad.

Can't wait to watch Calgary and Winnipeg regress back to the 70 point teams that they actually are next season so L.A. can comfortably make the playoffs tbh.
