Maybe it's high time he gets a change of scenery.

Rex Ryan, Bobby Valentine and the ghost of Herb Brooks. That's as serious as the idea of firing Torts at this point is.

Honestly, nothing right now. We are stuck with him for this season. If things go REALLY bad, they may bring in a coach towards the end of the season as a substitute.

Sather should have a serious conversation with Torts about bringing in some bench assistance.

I would say that adding a triggerman for the PP would help. But I don't think it would be enough to fix our PP at this point.

The problems run far deeper than that right now. A triggerman will not fix that.

Honestly, Strahlman should be glued to that first PP unit. But Torts doesn't see it I guess.
 
This team needs Mike Keenan like I need an enema.
 
I'd shoot myself if this team hired Mike Keenan. It's his fault we were one and done in the mid 90's, it's his fault Mike Gartner doesn't have a ring, and we won the Cup despite Keenan.

Guy's a complete and total nutjob. Makes Torts look like a helpless kitten.
 
This is somehow worse than the "This is a bad hockey team." thread. Well, the serious one. Why is this even posted here? Why the **** would we fire Torts? I try to understand some of the dislike for this team. I am not happy with how they have performed so far. But we are not even 10 games into the season and we want to fire the coach that got the team to the ECF last year?

Where has all the sensible posting gone?

So you had no problems with my other suggestions and the only problem with Rex as a suggestion is he already has a job? :laugh:
