Out of all of the tinfoil hat theories I could definitely see the Toronto reporters downplaying this on team orders.

So...about that. He isn't a Dodgers writer. He's a Dodgers fan (who runs a Dodgers blog) but a legit LA Sports writer for the paper and a SNLA contributor. That would suggest that he has sources in both LA orgs.
