Funny how he is played horrible yet he hasn't been on the ice for a goal against in 3 games. So being on the ice for 47 minutes so far he has not seen a goal go into his net despite being "horrible".

He may or may not be easy to move, his 13-14 cap hit is a bigger issue than his play with the cap dropping.

He hasn't been great, but saying he is horrible because of 4.25 mil is skewing your judgment.

Umm you just made my point of why we should buy him out.

No we should trade him and keep the buyout for somebody else or 2014.

I would hold on to the buyout if possible. I think there is room for GMs of rich teams to be creative here. At the moment, Bourque is playing well enough to avoid a buyout and someone might take Kaberle for a 5th, 6th or even a 7th round pick. That would allow Bergevin to trade for assets, and a bad contrat and burn a buyout.
