You're taking this awfully personal, Bryan. Why don't you go watch some tape?

Incidentally, Bryan, you can post your pass in the "Bryan Rust is Super Awesome and Deserves to Have His Jersey Hang in the Rafters " thread. I'm sure it has tons of views and everyone likes it. Hope that helps!

Rust skates like a Minecraft character. I remember being at a game in Boston Gardens waaaaaaaaaaay long ago and watching Dave Poulin skate and it kind of reminds me of that. Very rigid, not smooth, like an older action figure, NOT A DOLL MOM!!!!! , like an action figure that is limited in its movements.

A guy like Bryan rust on your third line means you’re very much a contender if not a favorite to win the last game of the season. When a guy like Bryan Rust is cemented on your first line, you’re probably going to run into issues making the playoffs.
an arguably worse version of Bryan Rust was stapled to the top 6, and very much on the 1st line of a team that won the Stanley cup in 2017. The fact the team won had a lot to do with who else was in the top 6, but where we're at now isn't his issue.

This thread is still weird to me and I'm pretty whatever on Rust.

Yohe's mid season report cards are in. Spoiler alert: Bryan Rust is the best Penguin.

38.33 GF% at 5v5. Best Penguin.

Meanwhile Erik Karlsson gets a D when he's the only regular besides Rakell floating above water.

I’m sorry, I know they’ve changed math since I was in school but in what world is Rust producing anywhere near what Jake was?

Well, if you read the Yohe blurb, I don't think I'm making that assumption. Bring it up with him.

It warms my heart that even at 50 years old Sid is still dragging aging wingers who are unwilling or unable to play with the effort that brought them to the dance to good enough statistics to convince sports writers said wingers are still great players.

Somewhere, Chris Kunitz is smiling.

Kunitz was a 60 point guy before being traded to Crosbys wing, plus he has Olympic gold and is a certified franchise killer.

Rust has never hit 60, even playing with Crosby, and the only franchise he kills is his own.
