Xenforo Cloud upgraded our forum to XenForo version 2.3.4. This update has created styling issues to our current templates, this is just a temporary look. We will continue to work on clearing up these issues for the next few days and restore the site to it's more familiar look, but please report any other issues you may experience so we can look into. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

This "upgrade" sucks but the previous iteration sucked as well. Go back about 8 years, when it was actually clean and functional. The mobile site is especially unusable and has been frustrating for years with intrusive ads. Perhaps this will get me to swear off HF like I've done after Reddit's changes.
The new layout is horror bad.

I dunno if this is the most appropriate place to ask this question, but for some reason I can't log in to my account here on my main Brave profile (not even in incognito mode), but I opened up a different profile and I had no problem logging in. (Before anyone makes the suggestion - yes, I cleared the cookies.)
As for relevant to the thread - it looks different but I'm used to these XenForo templates, and in dark mode it seems pretty inoffensive to me.

We haven't even seen the new layout yet. This is a temporary thing while the new layout gets fixed up and is functional with the new board software.
Unfortunately updates on this are mandatory in order to maintain board security and reliability, and with how much customization goes on behind the scenes, sometimes we need a few days to get everything up and running. Either we shut down the site for a few days, or deal with these temporary default hiccups.

No, I mean why get rid of the angry icon? I angry my coach having bad line combos, not being angry at people.
Try going to a different subforum. I got a security error clicking on the Login link in some areas of the site.
So far I actually like the changes. Makes the site a bit more modern on mobile.

This layout is workable. I'm here for people's thoughts - I can deal with a few days of them not being "optimally aesthetically pleasing."
But take my angry icon away and I'm gonna have to ask you to drop the gloves.
So my background just changed when I switched subforums and it looked pretty much like it used to.

It's not entirely my call to make, but from my perspective the point of those reactions is to take the place of "+1" type posts. For something more nuanced like that, a reply is more appropriate.
One of the other communities I help run is smaller and thus more closely-knit and so that sort of thing is workable there, but it doesn't scale well for larger groups like this one.
