Kirkland goal brought a smile to my face. Andersson was incredible today as well. Flames got an interesting squad, a lot of size and wide range of ages. I thought Honzek totally popped as well.

Still might crash out as the season progresses, but it looks pretty good so far.

Been saying it all summer this is a playoff team. Great effort today, it's been different players each game getting it done, great to see.

Disappointed Hubes goal streak came to an end. Barely on track for 50 in 50 now.

One other comment. Kevin Bahl has been a good positional defender so far. I know it's only 3 games in, but he's stood out among the non Andersson/Weegar defenders.

Okay this one took me by complete surprise. Hell yeah. Huberdeau doesn't get a point on the GWG but he was instrumental in it, as were all five guys on the ice.

Pospisil is a great reminder to me and everyone why there are 7 rounds to the draft, and not only the shiniest new toys are important. What a f***ing stud he's turned into.
