B.) They will make two trades. I think it's extremely obvious when looking at this roster that they need both another quality C but also a defencemen that you could possibly play alongside Rielly. OEL to me should not be asked to play his weak side and this won't hold up against elite teams.

B) Stolarz for me.
He has been awesome this season and was awesome last season. This is a really close call and I can understand an argument for either goalie but I've just felt a little more calm when he's been in the crease.


3. What do you believe Toronto's great need is?

C) Top 4 defenseman, I know this isn't the popular answer and #3C would easily win a poll but I really dont like our current D setup outside of a great pairing in McCabe-Tanev. OEL should be playing on a third pairing on his strong side if we want to win a championship and asking him to play his weakside has hurt his game and has limited some of his strengths. Having two of Benoit, Timmins or Myers in the lineup at the same time is just one too many, so we badly need another quality D that we can play with Rielly that allows you to move OEL down.

I´d say our biggest need is that our superstar players start playing like they are real superstars in the PO´s.
As long as our core 4 keeps playing like they have... We will continue to lay massive eggs come postseason.

I'm more than happy if Woll starts a playoff game. But I'm more comfortable with Stolarz so far.

The Leafs have never found a good partner for Morgan Rielly. They need one now more than ever, as he's struggled for the first half of the year. Get the big name right hander to pair with Mo and suddenly the blueline is something you'd expect on a contender.
