I don't know why exactly, but I am fascinated by NHL of the 1940s (it's wild and weird, and I adore Maurice Richard), I love the NHL of the 1950s (there's a dignity about it and a certain grace).... but I have almost zero interest in the NHL of the 1960s. Especially pre-expansion, that decade of hockey just doesn't really interest me. I am not sure why.
