McDavid

Bedard?
McKenna?
????

I'm putting out a new name here, most hockey fans havent probably heard of
i think he is a legit future goal scoring franchise forward in the making,

His name is Daniel Makovetskiy, he is a 2029 NHL Draft eligible player
currently playing in the CSSHL U15 V
- now, ive followed his season from the get go, but only his stats, (39+30 | 2.65 ppg)
i made this thread after i watched several highlight video clips of him
damn... HE IS GOOD! skating, shooting, strength*

He is from Renton, Washington
currently he is listed at 5 foot 4 (150) or 5 foot 5 (155), depending a site
- sure, small kid, but he is very young

* as much as that young can have/be, but still, also the level of hockey he faces,
again but still..

heres few youtube videos

sure, i might be wrong and all, time will tell
lets see your names/forwards who you think could be the next

No. He is not going to be that good. You’re wrong again and continue to be unable to realize the diffrence between CSSHLV, and CSSHL.

He is a 2010 born playing varsity, the BEST 2010’s are playing Prep already.

He could be a WHL draft pick down the line, maybe in the top 100 if he has a good year next season but he is not on the level of McDavid, Bedard or even a McKenna. GTFO of here starting threads for this crap.

Many names are coming up as potential:

Maddex Schultz, Alexis Joseph, Rocco Pelosi, James Scantlebury

many guys not listed here......still a long way to go....Maddex Schultz has all the potential in the world to be something like a Mckenna

Franchise Level Players (only for current non-nhlers)

Michkov, McKenna & maybe Hagens

Right below that level (perennial-Stars/top liners)

Celebrini, Misa, Demidov (maybe Frondell or Ihs Wozniak but I need to watch more of them because i've been hearing people see Ihs Wozniak has overtaken Frondell for 25 in SWE, would be a surprise if true!)

2027 might still be too far ahead to proclaim anything, especially with a defenseman in Dupont as the favorite but a few guys who may be top line talents in a few years)

Michkov will waltz in and become a star scorer. Unsure what his two-way game will be like. I expect a Kaprizov level player but wouldn’t be surprised if he a Kucherov level

Celebrini looks like a Toews / Eichel level player with more offense and less defense than the former and less athleticism but more of a motor than the latter.

Those are the safest bets right now IMO.

I understand the hype about michkov but celebrini is easily the same level of prospect as him right now, he is one hell of a comeplete player with a wicked shot

Michkov

I still find it hilarious that AZ skipped over Michkov due to the Russian factor, only to pick Russians with both #6 and #12.
It's speculated he gave them the courtesy before the draft of letting them know he didn't way to play there. The same courtesy Gauthier's lack of character prevented him from giving the flyers.

It would be nice to see a TRUE Game breaking, Record shattering, State of the art Goaltender break into the league.

Highest win%
Lowest GAA
Most goals as a goalie
Most assists as a goalie
Best skating technique that doubles as a goalie and as a "hybrid Defensman"

I don't see an elite forward like McGretzvvid coming down the line soon.

How much better is Celebrini than Fantilli?

I think Michkov is a higher level than both. He's on the level of Bedard, who no one would argue is the same level as Celebrini or Fantilli.

I don't think that's what happened. Montreal skipped on him and took Russians later on in the draft.

Either he told those teams he'd prefer elsewhere which is possible, or those teams just had red flags that they couldn't justify him at their pick. Arpon Basu covers Montreal for The Athletic (bit of a mouth piece lol) and he hinted pretty strongly that people at SKA didn't think much of him and the Habs head scout has a lot of ties there. Fwiw they could (and very well may be) wrong but I think it's also possible some teams that had him lower than we do.

Any chance Michkov turns out to be closer to puljujärvi than Kaprizov?

There seems to be a ton of hype around him and im not sure why

For all we know, he could come over and be Yakupov 2.0
