I don't trust the public to share a sidewalk in a fair and equitable sort of way, definitely don't trust it with dispensing justice.

I love this quote haha. Kind of puts it into perspective.

Hey the new apparent rule on sidewalks is if you're walking in a group 3/4 abreast you have numbers and make others walk off the sidewalk to let you pass.

if you're in your teens its "Sidewalks ain't no thing, I'm walking on lawns and roads because I'm a dude, tell me to stop, make my day *****" ;)

If your absent minded and text addicted its walk in a straight line head down across roads, traintracks, freeways, other pedestrians..

If youre a no rules type there ain't no right hand rule, doesn't exist.

2-2 series tied

All aboard the Raptors bandwagon guys, no shame in it. Just enjoy the ride. Toronto beating both the zebras and Cleveland. Defense first mentality. Heart and soul. Blood and guts. True grit. All the cliches. But it's real! This is easily better than the Jays run last year.

Infinitely more dramatic than NHL playoffs. Yeah I said it.

how do you feel about the game last night? still as pumped?
the got their butts kicked, pure and simple.

Predictable as pie as well.

The Raptors haven't even been in any game on the road in this series. 3 butt kickings administered.

Game 6 could be tight but I don't see the Raptors prevailing in a potential deciding match.

This is reminiscent of Oilers vs Islanders in 81. The dynastic team not taking the other team too seriously but being in clear control nonetheless. That series went 6 as well.

Two wins is two more than anyone else was giving them credit for. The Cavs are a MUCH better team than the Raptors and it's full credit to the Raptors for grinding out a couple wins.

Sometimes it's fun to just be a fan, not overanalyze things, and cheer a team on.

Any other PC user have Windows 10 OP forced down their throat recently?

I declined this *upgrade* every time (frequently) that I was asked. Finally, a week ago it force loaded a page I couldn't opt out of and that made me download the update. There was no choice offered not to.

This was a forced download of Windows 10 as a lot of users are complaining about. Since then nothing but email difficulties, browser incompatibilities, wonky internet, strange Op, having to find how things work on this system.

Now I can't even change home page. They're making that as non intuitive as possible as they want you to go with suggested page. Had to google how to change home page, tried it 3 times, the homepage won't change lol.

****, change for the sake of change and each one worse. What happened to windows 9. Did that spontaneously combust in planning stage?

I thought it was because odd numbered versions were known as the unstable kind and the even number that came after was the same version with all the fixes and bugs worked out.

Maybe windows knows this and stopped using odd numbers as a marketing trick. :dunno:

Odd-numbered versions for development releases

Between the 1.0 and the 2.6.x series, the Linux kernel used odd minor version numbers to denote development releases and even minor version numbers to denote stable releases; see Linux kernel: Version numbering. For example, Linux 2.3 was a development family of the second major design of the Linux kernel, and Linux 2.4 was the stable release family that Linux 2.3 matured into. After the minor version number in the Linux kernel is the release number, in ascending order; for example, Linux 2.4.0 → Linux 2.4.22. Since the 2004 release of the 2.6 kernel, Linux no longer uses this system, and has a much shorter release cycle.

I'm sad :(

They built up so much momentum and good will after G4, especially with the tit for tat, bucket for bucket response down the stretch of the 4th quarter, where the Raptors stars played the best games of their lives. That was the biggest, best, most important game in the history of the franchise and they delivered.

You think when you put up that kind of a performance, it would be powerful enough to help buck the trend of their woeful road games. They haven't won in Cleveland this year and I didn't expect them to win the series but they weren't as bad as they showed in the first two and they're certainly not as bad as they played last night.

It's mental with them. And I doubt them being championship caliber, mainly because their top end talent isn't as good but overall they're a well coached group and have enough depth to make me believe hey, maybe this group can be another version of the 2004 Detroit Pistons. Just rock solid and committed top to bottom. In any case this run is a Herculean step forward for the franchise that will greatly benefit them going forward.

Looking forward to G7 on Sunday :)

And on a personal note this has been the most fun, wildest roller coaster ride of emotions I've had watching sports since 2006. This is my 1B team. Happy they've broken through. Ultimately though, the job is not done. That should be noted.

Really hope the Oilers can make some noise soon here cuz it's been way too long...

Look at the first 2 games in Cleveland and no one should be surprised.

you can't be impressed that a couple of the raptors were in the casino in the middle of the night before the biggest game of their lives.

even if it didn't affect their play (which was quite bad, so it could have) make me wonder what they were thinking and if they have their heads on straight.
you're trying to get to the NBA finals, guys. maybe now isn't the best time to spend all night in the casino.

Yet windows 7 was better than either windows 8, or 10.

I dunno, by all accounts no one cares and it was another hack instigator article by the man we all know and love, Steve Stimmons. He comments on stuff he has no business talking about. They had a full 16 hours to do as they please before the game. No big deal for me personally.

There is a small application called GWX Control Panel that would have helped you in this regard. Sorry to hear about it.

I updated to Windows 10 as soon as it was available and have only had a couple driver problems(that were easily fixed).

Maybe I was lucky. I've had no complaints with it.

I'm not happy with Windows 10.
Lots of compatibility issues, main ones being Chrome and Kaspersky causing major system slow downs and "green screens". Never had an issue with Windows 8 :/

Psh please. Even family shows call of death or dismemberment of people. The queen of hearts from Alice in Wonderland for example and all the other deaths in Disney.

Yep. Joking aside even as a kid I wondered about the gore, depravity, and tragedy of "fairy tales" and their suitability for bedtime reading...

I think I developed insomnia that way...

Not sure what happened to Quentin Tarentino but probably even more dark fairy tales or Aesops fables when he was a kid. Or he's a shakespear fan..

jk aside theres whole studies examining how many tragic instances there are per minute or page in Disney, or fairy tales. With the conclusion what kind of scoundrels wrote this gore.

Then bambis mother was shot..:D

Something as simple as changing home page was a major headache this week. Used every suggested method prescribed to change home page (Microsoft Edge browser, which comes packed with Windows 10 was not making the change regardless of attempts) I should note it wasn't working on Chrome either. Windows 10 was forcing MSN news page. (I hate junk like that loading) Also, the system had "hidden" internet explorer which wasn't even listed as a program. I had to use search parameters to locate it, lol

I finally got online support. The Microsoft tech took at least an hour before finally finding a way to change the home page. I requested that all of the concerns be forwarded to managers. That such a basis thing was not working at all was interesting to the tech who had informed of a lot of complaints.

I also raised the issue of why the download of Windows 10 was finally forced on me after refusing it probably 50 times.
