Just went to NHL.com to check out some scores and I noticed they've changed it up.

I couldn't find the Game Summary, Event Summary or Roster Report for the first pre-season games anywhere.

Is it just me who can't find them, or did they actually manage to make the gamecenter page even worse than it was?

Let's just say I won't be giving them the benefit of the doubt regarding improving user friendliness on their site.

I've never even had their app work for me once so it's no skin off my nuts. Every time I opened it I was asked my favorite team and then if I tried to click on a piece of content it would redirect me back to that team's page.

Frankly embarrassing that TheScore, a long defunct sports channel(acquired by Bell maybe?), manages to build and maintain a better mobile app than a billion dollar a year pro sports league. That's the high standard attention to detail I've come to know and hate being a fan of this bushiest bush league.

None of the goal clips even work. One of the worst examples of change for changes sake I’ve seen on an app.

I haven't tried the app but the website is atrocious. It was bad before the changes as well but now it just reached another level.

It is? I've hardly touched it at all since May. I've just recently started using it again. Seems ok but judging by the comments here, I'm in for a nasty surprise sooner or later. lol

The NHL app sucks.

With that said, many teams now have their own dedicated apps that have been released this year. If your team has done this, download it and thank me later. At least for the Canes, using the NHL app was the only way I could manage my season tickets from my phone (including downloading to my phone). The new app made that cumbersome and downright impossible. The Canes specific app is MUCH better, and I suspect all of the team specific apps are the exact same.

I’ve always used it strictly to watch the game highlights and for whatever reason, they wont load on my phone with the new layout

So as of now, an app I barely had a use for doesn’t have any use to me.
