I have a love-hate relationship with indie rock, as I'm more of a heavy metal guy personally. That being said, the bands and songs that are good in it I think have been a positive for rock and roll and their songs stand toe to toe with some of the best hits in rock history.

So here are some more of the indie rock songs of the 2000s and 2010s that I highly recommend to anyone looking for something new to scratch that itch.
