Just got back from a week in Liverpool, UK. If you're a Beatles geek like me, you have to go. I visited all the Beatles childhood homes, did the National Trust tour inside Paul McCartney's and John Lennon's childhood homes, saw Strawberry Field, Penny Lane, the (current) Cavern Club, and many other sites. I wandered on my own to seek out the St. Peter's Church Hall, where John met Paul, and I lucked out as the custodians there asked me if I wanted to see inside. Um, yes please. Plus it was hot and sunny the entire week; I have a Liverpool sunburn.
