Neil stepping up to support Bruce!

Robert Plant has thrown his weight behind Bruce Springsteen following The Boss's recent remarks

While addressing the crowd at a Saving Grace concert in Tampere-talo, Tampere, Finland, the Led Zeppelin legend voiced his support for Springsteen.

He remarked: "Right now in England, which is where we come from - not quite the land of the ice and snow - Bruce Springsteen is touring right now in the UK.

And he's putting out some really serious stuff. So tune in to him.

Though others must try....

"You ain't so big, you just tall that's all"

"Play one for Jimmy Reed"

Wasn't ever the same after Pigpen

Pigpen showed he had great taste with this sitting on his keyboard

As Young himself put it, “Every musician has one guy in the planet that he can play with better than anyone else. You only get one guy. My guy was Danny Whitten”.

Always liked his Crazy Horse stuff with Danny best

Vocals with Neil were like sippin' a smooth blend

Danny wrote this but never cashed in on it

Maybe so, but for my money, Neil Young and Pancho Sampedro were even better...All of my favorite songs of his with the Horse were with Frankie on guitar....

Little known fact.....This song was supposed to be recorded by Lynyrd Skynyrd on their next album. When that didn't happen because of the plane crash, he recorded it himself on Rust. Its still one of my favorite songs of his. I have a hard time imagining Skynyrd doing it...

Saw him and the Horse live at Alpine Valley back in 1987. Here was the setlist.

Still in my Top 5 favorite concerts of all time.
