Sounds like Annie LennoxAre you listening?
Then listen well.
For you,
from Southern Accents (great concert)I bought "Southern Accents" (1985) upon release. That's the last Heartbreakers album I bought.
Petty's first solo effort, "Full Moon Fever" (1989), produced by fellow Willbury and ELO mastermind Jeff Lynne (who also produced George Harrison's commercially successful return to the charts, 1987's "Cloud 9'), was a monster seller and a great record, spawning several hit singles.
I'll post a few from that one at some point.
Please post your own, Susan,
The big BAD bruins.
One of my favourite live performances
This event is what came to mind when I saw the Great White post. Not a fan and nothing against Great White or the post but it was just a very sad and unfortunate event. This sticks out because I had just relocated my family to Florida around Thanksgiving 2002 from Attleboro when my wife (at the time) and I heard this news on the radio we were in disbelief. We both knew people who may have attended, thankfully they did not. Such a tragic night of fun and music gone so terribly wrong. Thoughts and prayers to everyone for healing to all those who were affected. Huanting.I don't mean to be a jerk or offend, and am aware of at least one board member & thread contributor who had personal experience with The Station club.
Nor am I a Great White fan.
But the story of what happened over twenty years ago still haunts, as does the front page Herald picture.
Time can heal.
Sometimes.
I hope it has, to whatever degree, for all involved.
