Everyone has their favorite guitar slinger. One of the originals has his gear on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Yes.

OT: As an aside, I have always hated the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Not to put too fine a point on it, I've also always hatef Rolling Stone magazine founder and long time chief editor Jann Wenner,

100% in agreement. Listen to what Ian Hunter said before the Hall was built and before the benefit concert he and Ronson did for the Hall.

Neither Ian or Ronno are in the Hall of Fame. When I saw them play this live I was in Rock and Roll Heaven, the Hell with the Hall of Fame.

Yeah, Wenner is a piece of work. Not just the comments on black and female artists, but just his overall shitbaggedness. Not quite the Alan Eagleson of the music biz, but pretty damn close.

Bonus points to those who know what followed for the lad singing the song.

Hint:

Just from memory, wasn't he on HR Puffnstuff?

Indeed he is.

Indeed he was. Unfortunately, he came to a bad end.

Some Columbus. I had to do some research on this one.

Not up to parsing at the moment.

Akron says hi, Chrissie to follow,

One of my Top 10 bands of all time. Can't believe this record is already 40yrs old. There isn't a bad song on the whole record, and you can't help feeling good after you listen to it. Too many good songs to choose from, so you guys can fill in the gaps. Here's a taste.

They are an amazing band and easily in my top 10 of all time. From about 1988 to 2001 i saw them a ton and they were the most consistently excellent live band i'd ever seen. thanks for sharing, great stuff.
