A venerable Boston band. My girlfriend and I watched as they filmed the video for "Don't Run Wild" on the MIT/Smooth bridge as we walked by,

Got bounced from a Del Fuegos show at The Channel. I was standing with some ladies and they were passing around a funny cigarette. S.O.B. bouncers let them pass it all they wanted, but as soon as it hit my hand they grabbed me and tossed me out on my ass. Last thing I heard was the pick slide from the bridge of Don't Run Wild.

I’ll fight anyone who doesn’t have this guy in the conversation of the greatest guitarists ever. John Petrucci is an absolute mastermind.

I don’t think anyone living or dead can hold a candle to John. That’s a broad statement but I’ll stand by it.

Ain’t looking for a scrap, but have you heard the original?

Is this the Dream Theater guy? He’s a great guitarist.

I bought "Southern Accents" (1985) upon release. That's the last Heartbreakers album I bought.

Petty's first solo effort"Full Moon Fever" (1989), produced by fellow Willbury and ELO mastermind Jeff Lynne (who also produced George Harrison's commercially successful return to the charts, 1987's "Cloud 9'), was a monster seller and a great record, spawning several hit singles.

I'll post a few from that one at some point.

Please post your own, Susan,
