Just noticed rewatching Bruins in 2 we haven't been in a shootout this year yet

Just noticed that I hate shootouts the same way I hate video review and "coache's challenge."

Lord, save us from the NFL and the NHL's lame attempts to mimic its perfect is the enemy of the good foolishness.

Talk about a God complex. The NHL has a Napoleon complex.

PS Not a shot at you.

Please no more Glee. lol

Watched Courtney live. Met her after the show. So talented. Great show. And weird I just added beautiful boy to my playlist.

If we're talking about the same thing (lthough you still haven't informed as to whom the aforementioned "Courtney" is, unless you're talking about Courtney Cox or Courtney Love, which would be interesting), 'Beautiful Boy" is one of the better tracks on " Double Fantasy" (1980). One of the few, in my humble opinion.

Not a Yoko fan.

Bought into the 'house husband" storyline at the time.

Perhaps I judge harshly and unfairly, but everything I have read about Yoko Ono betells a gold digger relentlessly sinking her teeth into the flabby backside of a hopelessly f***ed up John Lennon.

Then again, Julian and Sean seem to get on well enough. Which can't be easy.

The objective "truth," should there be any, is beyond my powers of perception.

Happy Christmas. (Please not to cancel #MeToo)

War is over.

If you want it,

Sorry I was responding to a separate poster. This is the Courtney I saw live.

well...I love this old Christmas duo
I saw it at the time and was underwhelmed.

A bizarre pairing, ostensibly.

But Bowie was very much a respectful admirer of old Hollywood and his show business elders. He was very old fashioned that way.

David later remarked that Crosby was not quite all there at the time. Which makes sense, because by then Bing was a million years old.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bing Crosby. Many forget or do not know how great he was, and how fantastically popular.

A featured player on my Christmas movie/tv suggestion list, coming soon to an OT: No Politics: Happy Holiday's thread near you,

AGP72 thinking you may know something on this Canadian psychedelic band from the 60s. New to me. Enjoy.

Never heard them, thanks for that! Did know a few guys who moved to Canada in the 70's after they felt a "draft". Maybe they knew of them.

Good tune. Thanks for posting. The lyrics reminded me of this song.

My son used to listen this band. I told him to listen to this one.
