Finished Dark Matter season 1. Really enjoyed it! Joel Edgerton did a fantastic job playing multiple roles.

Anyone else watching The Day of the Jackal on Peacock?

It’s Killing Eve-esque, without any of the humor, and the shit writing of the last few seasons lol.

Ah, well that's good to see that they're seemingly starting off Original Sin right where New Blood ended so there is going to be a connection.

I say this only because of a quick twitter video highlighting the cast and the first thing you see is medical wires attached to Dexter which i'm assuming is them trying to save his life.

I haven't watched the first episode yet so this could be a completely obvious statement. I guess the show may be a his life flashing before his eyes kinda thing.

I thought they were advertising it as a prequel to Dexter, when Dexter was a kid and learning the code from harry. Basically fleshing out all of the backstory from the main series unnecessarily.

I feel like Michael Dexter hall is unable to play any character but Dexter.

That IS what the show is. I just didn't really expect it to be tied to the happenings of New Blood at all. The medical wires were attached to old Michael C Hall before jumping to the past in the video.

The first episode is streaming already so i'll be checking it out tonight.

I'm ready to be hurt again.

I’m done with it. The last season was terrible.

I’m watching Shrinking on Apple+ (very good) and something just occurred to me- haven’t any of these people ever seen Star Wars? How come no one says, “hey, you look a lot like Han Solo!”

Is this supposed to be some alternate universe where Star Wars doesn’t exist? Because I don’t think you can do that.

He's pretty good playing an English guy in Safe on Netflix.

So in Meet The Parents, everyone should be saying - hey you look like the guy from Goodfellas?

I’ve never seen either of those so I don’t know. But EVERYONE has seen Star Wars.

Obviously I’m not being serious. This is the first time a thought like that has ever occurred to me and I’m sure it’s because of the novelty (like, is this the first time?) of Harrison Ford doing a TV show.

It's like people in zombie movies. Have they never seen a zombie movie?

It kills me when a monster movie doesn’t have that type in their universe but will have other monster knowledge.
Vampire movies are chock full of “no silver bullets are for werewolves!”

So atypical Christmas movies… any suggestions?

Loved violent night from a couple years ago and if anyone has not seen fat man, do yourself a favor and watch it.
