History of the World Part II started on Hulu last night

Looks like they are dropping 2 30 minute episodes a day until Thursday for the whole thing.
Speaking of which ..this is a great interview of Mel Brooks..

Cocaine Bear much more "uplifting."

Entertained with some good laughs..
My mom went to the bathroom right as the bear jumped into the ambulance, thinking she saw that part in the trailer. Oh no, you didn't get to see the glorious gory carnage that followed.

Last of us finale I believe.

Felt kind of rushed the end but lovely series overall.

It definitely needed another episode. Not sure why they went with 9 episodes. Budget perhaps. Show looked like it cost a fortune is set design alone.

Either way, one of if not the best video game adaptation made to date.

Cant wait for Part II

I'm not 100% sure, but I think with Everything Everywhere At Once winning best picture it may be the first Oscar Winning Best Picture that James Hong has appeared in for his career. Hundreds of movie appearances (I think between movie & TV he's like 600/700 appearances). Pretty cool to see it happen for him in his 90s.

The success and accolades for that movie is such an incredible feel good story all-around.

Ke Huy Quan made me cry when he won his Oscar lol

Goonies Never Say Die!

Enjoyed S3 and E3 of the Mandalorian....

I was not a fan of that middle section with the new characters. Their acting wasn't great and I didn't really care much about that story. What was the point? To show why there isn't a cloning program in the new trilogy? Loved the beginning and end with Mando and Bo though.

Agree that part was kind of lame. The beginning and end though were definitely great.

Haven’t watched a superhero film since the dark knight rises. To each their own but most of those movies look like trash.

Damn nerds.
They are ok once in a while but it's overkill. I get it...profitable for Hollywood but doesn't change the fact it is overkill. Guess it's TV series now and independent films where there is both substance and entertainment value. The Whale was well done though ..didn't even need a big budget except for the food he ate in that binge scene ..

I have a bit of a crush on Bo-Katan Kryze...

The Mandalorian is comic book stuff of course but well done. That is my dose of nerd stuff I guess..

The only good thing about that part
Was seeing Coruscant. I really liked the bit of showing the peak of a 'mountain' like the entire planet is covered completely in artificial constructions. Although that would seem to indicate the planet has no tectonic activity... Also you would think the altitude of that peak would impact the oxygen level, but it's also possible the entire planet uses artificial means to increase that I suppose.

Uh, there is a cloning program in the new trilogy. Snoke was a clone and at this point I don’t remember for sure but I think Palpatine was a clone also.

The point seemingly is that the chick is still working for the “Empire” and they wanted to ensure that the New Republic wouldn’t have the ability to clone.

Gideon was probably working for Thrawn.

I still don't understand what happened in "Rise of Skywalker." It's not because I'm stupid - I was just so put off by the vast majority of it that I couldn't pay attention. I'd give anything if that trilogy never happened and they let Filoni come up with the idea for one instead. He can stay where he is in TV, but I'd like him to determine the course of everything.

I watched all three of them & honestly cannot even really remember what happened I was that disinterested in them.

Ohh ok. I guess I missed that because I was having a hard time giving a shit due to how boring the actors were.

The world would indeed be a much better place if Filoni and Favreau got to make the new Star Wars Trilogy instead of Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Rian Johnson.
