Travis Sanheim is developing steadily. I was sceptical when he was a rookie, but he build his game season by season, as well as his confidence.

While I agree forsling is very good and underrated at one point, his name comes up so often now I find it hard to say he's underrated. Seems like he's pretty adequately rated as a damn good #2 defenseman. I'll say underrated is Vince Dunn.

No, see.... he's a #1 defenseman. He's top 10 in the league Why do you think Florida has had such a good defense recently despite not having a ton of big names? You should know as a Bolts fan ...he totally neutered Kuch last playoffs .

Yeah, he did neuter kuch. Can't argue there, but I don't see the #1 defenseman, mostly with his offensive game.

I'd take a stud shutdown defender who will perennially score 35-40 points/season, than a guy like Bouchard who scores a lot of points but is questionable in their own zone. Forsling doesn't get any pp time, although he could, because Maurice wants to keep him fresh for the toughest matchups and the pk. If he did get pp 1 time , he'd score at least 50-60 points per season while being great defensively. Look at some of his goals from this last playoff run alone, he had some beautiful goals, and they were big goals at huge moments too. For example, he ended the Boston series. He has a great underrated wrist shot .
